
Twisted Oak Sawmill is located north of Harrah Oklahoma, on family owned property.
//	Woodworking has been in the family for several generations. The demand for custom lumber cutting has increased greatly in the past several years. I had no idea the opportunities of having a sawmill could bring. The main focus is to continue custom cutting lumber for others, from the logs they bring. No two logs are the same, each log has its own unique character.
Logs can also be used to build logs cabins. Logs are sawn on two sides opposite of each other and then dovetailed on the ends for the walls. The roofing is made from rough sawn cedar. When this cabin was completed it had a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living area in the lower section. The loft section contains threes beds. The cabin easily sleeps 6 people.
		Many trees have been around in excess of 100 years. Trees require nataural resources such as sunlight, water and oxygen to survive, much like we do. As a natural resource trees should be utilized to the best of our ability. What we do today will effect the future generations.
There is nothing like being able to go and relax in a solid wood log cabin surrounded by trees.
